Mniej więcej w połowie dnia zauważam, ze zegarki na paskach podróżnych wskazują inna godzinę niż na moim. Okazało sie, że miedzy Utah a Arizoną jest zmiana czasu, dlatego jak spaliśmy w Big Water wczoraj, które znajduje sie juz w Utah iPad zmienił godzinę, a gdy wróciliśmy na Horseshue bend do Page, która leży w Arizonie godzina wróciła do normy. Czyli straciliśmy godzinę z dzisiejszego dnia i szanse na zobaczenie Canionlands, (który zapisujemy juz, podobnie jak big sur, napa valley, czy mexico city do planów na następny trip). W Arches podeszliśmy spacerkiem do Delicates Arches, formacji, która robi zapierające dech w piersiach wrażenie. Jest to skalny łuk, który często widniał na okładkach National geographic jest on otoczony tak kosmicznym krajobrazem, ze George Lucas mógłby tam kręcić swoje Gwiedne Wojny!!
Around the middle of the day I notice that the watches on the bars indicate another time traveler than mine. przejście z parkingu do Delicates Arches i z powrotem zajmuje nam jakieś 2 h, jest to w sumie jedna z niewielu atrakcji, do której nie można podjechać autem. Zastanawiałem sie nawet, że co to za niby zwiedzanie parkówy narodowych?! a gdzie tu wędrówki po lesie, szum strumyków i obolałe mięśnie pod koniec dnia, albo szczęście, że udało sie zdobyć szczyt, obejść dolinę, przekroczyć kanion itp. Ale potem pomyślałem o dziewczynce, która widziałem nad brzegiem wielkiego kanionu, która miała przyczepioną do nosa rurkę z tlenem, czy o staruszku, który wdrapywal sie na punkt widokowy w parku yosemite. Ameryka jest sprawiedliwa i demokratyczna, zarówno dla zdrowych jak i chorych, zarówno dla młodych jak i starych. Mozna sie z nich śmiać, ale nie można im tego odmówić, że (przynajmniej do atrakcji turystycznych) każdy ma równy dostęp, bo już kwestia posłania dzieci na studia, czy opieki medycznej, to juz zupełnie inna bajka....
Po Arches ruszamy do małej miejscowości Richfield. Mamy tu nocleg w ślicznych hoteliku, ale okazuje sie ze Pani nie ma naszej rezerwacji.... Daje to nam furtkę poszukać innego naoclegu. Okazuje sie ze znajdujemy motel z polowe kwoty która mieliśmy zapłacić w hotelu z naszej rezerwacji z radością ruszamy wiec na kolacje.
transition from the parking lot to the Delicates Arches and back takes us about 2 hours, it is in all one of the few attractions to which you can not drive. I wondered even that what the kind of national parks tour ?! and where was walking in the forest, the sound of streams and aching muscles at the end of the day, or luck that did reach the top, go around the valley, cross the canyon like.which was attached to the nasal oxygen tube, or by old man who climbed in August on the lookout in the park Yosemite. America is a fair and democratic, both healthy and diseased. You can laugh at them, but you can not deny him that that (at least to the tourist attractions), everyone has equal access, as a matter of bedding kids to college, or medical care, it is already different story...
Właściciel motelu w którym śpimy rekomenduje nam lokal Dickies bbq, ruszamy tam i znajdujemy gigantyczna kolejkę lokalsow, nie ma tam ani Azjatów, ani czarnych tylko lokalni kowboje i robotnicy z żonami i wianuszkiem dzieci. Stoimy w potężnej kolejce. Okazuje sie źe we wtorek kanapki z mięsem pieczonym maja tam za dolara i całe rodziny przychodzą, kanapki są super, jemy tez żeberka z grilla, ale dla nas są za tluste jednak, po za tym moja teściowa robi je lepiej :-)) w lokalu każdygosc może tez za darmo zjeść porcje, czy kilka porcji lodów!! Kanapki są fenomenalne trzy rodzaje sosów dopełniają pyszny smak.
The owner of the motel where we sleep we recommend Dickies BBQ place, we go there and find a lokal people, there is no Asians or blacks only local cowboys and laborers with their wives and children garland. We are in a huge queue. It turns out that on Tuesday sandwiches with meat baked in May there for a dollar and families come, the sandwiches are great, we also barbecued ribs, but for us they are too greasy but, after that, my mother in law makes it better:-)) in place każdygosc can also enjoy a free portions, or some ice cream !! Sandwiches are phenomenal three kinds of sauces complement the delicious taste.
